Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sochi city
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sochi city (SCCI) was established in June, 1992 and throughout 18 years has been aimed at rendering assistance to the entrepreneurs and enterprises in organizing and conducting business and serving as entrepreneurship liaison with authorities.
SCCI carries out the following objectives:
- Renders help to Sochi companies and entrepreneurs, promotes and defends their interests, regarding business activities both in Russia and abroad;
- Encourages development of enterprises, taking into account economic interests of constituent units of the Russian Federation, branches of national economy and enterprises;
- Represents Sochi business to local authorities and social partners;
- Assists education and personnel training for Russian business;
- Renders informational, organizational, advertisement services and legal assistance; helps adjusting industrial disputes and resolving disputes, arising between enterprises and entrepreneurs;
- Promotes Russian goods and services export, renders Russian enterprises and entrepreneurs practical help in conducting external market operations and familiarizes them with new types of trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation;
- Provides, within the limits of its authority, protection from unfair competition and unbusinesslike partnership;
- Supplies services, necessary for carrying out business activities of foreign companies and organizations;
- Carries out other objectives, consistent with International agreements of Russian Federation.
Today more than 250 organizations are members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sochi city, among them are big companies, health resorts, banks, insurance companies and small business companies.
